What is an image editor?
The image editor allows you to upload and edit an image to be displayed as a content page, session poster, additional navigation element, external tool or event image.

How do I work in the Image Editor?
Open the image editor
To open the image editor, click on " Edit image".
Upload image
To upload an image to the image editor, click on the button "Upload image" and select an image from your files.
Edit image
As soon as you have uploaded an image, the editing tools next to the upload button will activate automatically. On the right-hand side is the image preview, which shows you your edited image.
Set image section
You can define the image section as you wish by dragging the dashed frame smaller or larger with your mouse or by moving it. You can also set the image section again after each further change.
Rotate picture
You can rotate the picture to the left or right as you wish by clicking on the corresponding arrow key.
Flip image
You can flip the image vertically or horizontally by clicking on the buttons with the parallel lines.
Zooming in on the picture
You can zoom in or out of the picture as you like by clicking on the buttons with the magnifying glasses.
Reset image
You can reset the image to the original image at any time during editing by clicking on the button with the arrow.
Save image
You can save the (edited) image and thus use it in the four configurations (content page, poster, additional navigation element, external tool) by clicking on the "Save image" button below.
Please note that the maximum file size is 8MB. Below the image preview is your current file size, which may vary depending on the size of the file section.
The recommended poster format is 16:9.
After you have saved the image, it will be displayed accordingly in the Backstage and in the Stage.
