What is 1:1 Chat?

With 1:1 Chat participants can send private messages to other participants.

The 1:1 Chat function must be enabled per Tenant and per user.

In the following you will learn how to set up the 1:1 Chat for your event.

Please notice

The 1:1 Chat function is a new addition to our platform.

It is only available for events that have been created after the 8th of January at 4pm.

In older events it is not possible to send private messages.


Configuration of the 1:1 Chat


1. Activate Attendee Directory


To activate the attendee directory, navigate to "Displayed Elements" in the event settings

and check the checkbox for "Attendee directory visible"



2. Display the user in the attendee directory


To display the user in the attendee directory, navigate to "Event User" in the event settings

click on the respective user and check the checkbox for "Visible in event attendee directory".



After these steps you can now find all activated users that are currently present in the event in the attendee directory in the stage:



By clicking on  you can send a private message to the user.
